Chris Reilly, former chief investment officer in Bank of Ireland Asset Management (BIAM), is to set up a new hedge fund operation on behalf of Bank of Ireland.
The details of the new venture are as yet unclear, but FINANCE understands that Reilly will only use Irish brokers for his trading requirements - word on the street has it that as long as a table is provided for him by the Irish brokers at his favorite restaurant Patrick Guilbauds, he will remain committed to only using them.
Following his retirement, Reilly was replaced by three managing directors at the beleaguered BIAM - Chris Johns as managing director of global research, Paul Boyne as managing director of global equities, and Sean Crowe as managing director of global fixed income and specialist products. |
