Taxation
There are currently very interesting opportunities for senior tax professionals in Ireland, as both domestic and multi-national firms look to recruit Ireland’s top taxation experts to their expanding teams. The pick of the taxation positions currently being advertised include the position of head of tax, which FK International, is have been hired to fill for its multinational client. Accountancy Solutions’ client, a ‘top 12’ firm, are also looking to recruit a taxation director as the firm looks to grow substantially over the next 12 months. Outside of Dublin, Accountancy Solutions has also been hired to fill the position of international tax manager for their client, a multinational client experiencing significant growth. This position is based in Galway.
Finance
Opportunities for professionals with five to six years experience are also there, as Accountancy Solutions, FK International and Accreate are currently seeking candidates to fill various positions for their clients. The positions of most interest include financial controller, head of finance and associate director of corporate banking.
Funds
Demand for fund professionals remains high and there are currently some very high profile positions being advertised. These include Eden Recruitment’s client who is looking to hire a top professional to the position of European fixed income product manager. This position is one of an increasing number of positions that are advertised which mention the CFA qualification as desirable.
In other trends in the jobs market, we see an increase in the amount of analyst positions being advertised. Pfizer is currently looking to recruit a treasury analyst through its recruitment partner Premier, while Robert Walters is looking to fill the position of senior credit analyst for its client, a Dublin based asset management firm.
