As a response to EMU, the Alliance Française in Dublin has modernised its French language training facilities to cater for more tailored corporate business. According to Marie-Christine Vandoorne, directeur, the Alliance is now offering 'customised' courses by 'devising curricula in close co-operation with each company'. These courses can be adapted to each company's needs, particularly in relation to specific vocabularies which businesses may be required to use when dealing with French counterparts.
The Alliance is also developing business seminars which will give managers an insight into French corporate culture.
