Masterclass on Irish corporates’ use of IFSC Back
One of the founding fathers of the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers, Aengus Murphy, leads a half day workshop on the topic 'Corporate Financial Services from the IFSC - What the IFSC can offer multinational corporations in the 2000s', at the Finance Dublin annual conference on March 27th next (see details on page 9, and on the website findub.com).

The seminar will set out the IFSC's uses for multinational companies, including Financial Shared Services Centres, and the new generation of rapidly growing Irish companies, many of them in fast growing high tech sectors, whose financing and financial planning options could benefit from the use of IFSC structures. This latter group in particular should look closely at what the IFSC has to offer, according to Murphy.

New IFSC structures, and insurance options will be addressed by the head of the IDA's IFSC division, Brendan Logue, and its international insurance representative, David Smith, and financial services partner of McCann FitzGerald, Roy Parker.
