The Centre for Insurance Studies at UCD’s Michael Smurfit Graduates School of Business is to host the Geneva Association Millennium Conference on 10-11 October this year.
The Geneva Association has as its members chief executives of major international insurance companies.
The theme of the conference is ‘Globalization of Business and Internationalization of insurance’. The conference organisers say it will examine new approaches to risk management, Regulation and Taxation.
Earlier, in May, a half-day conference will be held on the theme of ‘New Developments in Dispute Resolution’. UCD says that international and Irish experts will give presentations ‘of equal interest to companies, employees and policy-makers’.
There will also be seminars in the area of investment management arranged by Dr Ronan O’Connor with Europlus Research and Management scheduled for 18th May and 6th June. |
