The Institute of Chartered Accountants (ICAI), has joined with seven other professional institutes from around the world to form a Global task Force to explore the creation of a new international business professional designation.
The intention behind the proposed designation is to allow professionals from a wide range of disciplines to offer multi-disciplinary business services, rather than services based on the competencies of a single profession. It would complement existing professional credentials and would, according to the ICAI, offer international credibility.
The seven other professional institutes involved in this initiative hail from Canada, Australia, England and Wales, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa and the United States. |
