Current responsibilities: Aengus Murphy is currently chairman of FTI and a leading corporate treasury expert. Acts as lead advisor to a number of major multinational companies. Focuses on policy and strategic level issues in Treasury, Financial and Risk Management.

Professional memberships: FCT, Fellow of Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT). Founding father and past Chairman of the Irish Association of Corporate Treasurers (IACT).
Career progress: Oct 1988 to date: FTI Finance (Dublin); Founder, former MD and Chairman. FTI is a treasury management and systems firm engaged in outsourced treasury management services, treasury consulting support and treasury systems solutions. Jan 1981 to Oct 1988: ESB (Dublin); Treasury Manager. Management of treasury strategy for the group. Sept. 1977 to Jan 1981: ESB (Dublin).
Special projects: Headed an internal ESB project to develop and install a sophisticated treasury management system, before off-the-shelf packages were available.
