After winning the ‘Best financials analyst’ and featuring strongly in the ‘Best research reports’ category in this year’s survey, it is no surprise to see last year’s runner-up Seamus Murphy of Merrion scoop the ‘Analyst of the Year’ award for the first time.

Murphy lost out to Robert Eason of Goodbody in this category last year, who falls back to tenth place this year. Double winner John Sheehan moves down one place to joint fourth this year, tying for the spot with Goodbody’s Neil Clifford, who performed very strongly in the sectoral categories, winning four of them.
Murphy’s research report ‘Anglo Irish Bank: Growth Drivers Analysed’ BUY @ €12.55 came in third position in the ‘Best research report’ category. |
