Davy has lost its preeminence in the research products section this year, with Goodbody taking the ‘Best morning research notes’ category, and Davy falling back to fourth place.

However, Davy has held on to its title in the ‘Best equity books’ section, with the Davy Weekly Book again keeping the Goodbody Rolling Agenda in second place.
In what has been a strong all-round performance for Merrion, the firm has taken the ‘Best website’ title, which Davy has won since the category was introduced in 2001.
As is to be expected, NCB, which is part of the European Securities Network (ESN), has won the ‘Best international equity research’ category. This is a new category introduced this year.
‘Best research report’ goes to Davy’s John O’Reilly this year, with his report on the Kerry Group attracting the most votes.
Also in contention for this title were David Marshall of NCB with his report on Elan, and ‘Analyst of the year’ Seamus Murphy of Merrion’s research into Anglo Irish Bank. |
