| The international category saw Citi Smith Barney place strongly in every category. |
Citi Smith Barney have demonstrated their reputation as a global leader by taking two international categories: Best Overall Equity Research UK, just pipping Collins Stewart, and Best Overall Equity Research Japan and faring well in all of the international categories.
Collins Stewart also performed well in all three categories that it is listed in. Coming second in Best Overall Equity Research UK, Best Overall Equity Research Japan and winning the Best Overall Equity Research EUROPE (excluding UK).
Morgan Stanley picked up the the Best Overall Equity Research USA. Citi Smith Barney showed its strong global presence coming second in both Best Overall Equity Research in Europe (excluding UK) & Best Overall Equity Research in South East Asia. CLSA won the award for Best Overall Equity Research in South East Asia showing itself as a chief player in the region.
Merrill Lynch ceded ground in this year’s survey compared with last year. Last year they won three categories. They do however maintain a relatively high position in ‘Best Overall Equity Research UK’. |
