A new financial trading and risk-management advisory firm has opened an office on Baggot Street in Dublin. Micro Trading Opportunities (Dublin) Ltd, which was authorised by the Financial Regulator to enter the Irish market in Q1 of this year, will provide quantitative analytics to a small group of international investors.
Speaking to FINANCE, a spokesperson for the company said that it chose to set up in Ireland to take advantage of the well-educated workforce, especially in the areas of IT and qualitative analysis. Micro Trading also sees Ireland as a well respected jurisdiction for fund management, with the added bonus of being an EU member state. |
