UK based investment banks dominated the Q1 2007 financial adviser rankings for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) deals transacted in Ireland during the period. Top of the pile is Credit Suisse, who worked on three deals over the period, including CRH's €356 million acquisition of Getaz Romang SA. In joint third place are Goodbody and NCB, who both worked on the €549 million management buy-out of the Irish Continental Group.
By number of deals, Irish firms feature more prominently with three in the top five - KPMG, AIB and Deloitte, with KPMG leading the pack, having worked on four deals during the first 3 months of the year, including ISIS Private Equity Partners plc acquisition of The Anglo Irish Trust Company Limited. |
