Fast Recruitment is looking to fill this role for its client, one of the largest global foreign banks in Ireland with a strong fund administration area. Reporting directly to the head of operations, this position calls for a conscientious and self-motivated executive with a solid background in providing financial management, strategic, operational and financial analysis. The successful candidate must be prepared to undertake business travel.
The role will involve managing a number of production teams led by group managers consisting of fund accountants and transfer agency operational staff and managing, and assessing existing and proposed global hedge fund operations, amongst other things.
The successful candidate will ideally have experience at senior management level, and a recognised professional accounting designation, with a minimum of six years post qualification experience within the financial services industry, preferably within the funds area.

In Ireland, Maples Finance Fund Services Limited has recently received authorisation from the Financial Regulator to provide administration services to investment funds. Following this, and due to very strong growth, the firm is seeking to recruit professionals who are interested in working in an exciting and dynamic environment at the firm’s new location at 75 St. Stephen’s Green.
Maples Finance has an immediate opening for the position of senior vice-president, a key position with the company. The senior vice-president will manage a team of professionals and will be responsible for driving the fund administration business in Dublin. Responsibilities will also include extensive dealings with lawyers, prime brokers, transfer agents and fund managers, and co-ordinating all aspects of fund accounting and valuation services for a diverse portfolio of alternative investment funds. This position will report directly to the COO. Successful candidates are likely to have 6-8 years of relevant investment funds experience in increasing levels of seniority.
