AIB launches healthcare fund |

AIB Corporate Banking Ireland has launched a new €300 million fund to be made available for the healthcare sector. The move follows the Government’s announcement in the recent Budget that it would continue its tax incentives for psychiatric hospitals, private hospitals, day care facilities and specialist clinics. |
The new fund has been designed to assist those seeking to undertake developments and investment in these particular healthcare services in Ireland.
AIB is already in discussions with a range of groups in relation to private healthcare developments. Typical funding requirements are in the areas of private hospital developments, either stand alone operations or those built on existing public hospital grounds. In addition there is likely to be requirements in the areas of day care facilities, minor injury units, psychiatric hospitals , healthcare parks and eye laser clinics.
