Canada Life Assurance (Ireland) Limited, the pensions and life assurance provider, has linked up with SEI Investments (Europe) Limited, the European subsidiary of investment manager SEI, to offer a ‘manager-of-managers’ funds product.
The first product to be launched is the SEI/Canada Life Global Balanced Fund. The fund aims to provide long-term growth of capital with a moderate growth in income by investing 70 per cent in top tier equity funds and 30 per cent in top tier fixed income funds. The fund will provide investors with access to over 30 specialist managers not traditionally available to private clients.
SEI has €95 billion under management worldwide, and a strong track record of growth in Europe with presence in the UK, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands and France. The company already has a series of successful distribution relationships in Europe including Selestia in the UK , Bipiemme in Italy and HSBC Private Bank worldwide and the launch of manager-of-managers in Ireland is further evidence of SEI’s expansion globally. |
