Des Crowley, currently chief executive, Retail Financial Services Ireland (RFSI), for Bank of Ireland (BOI), has been appointed chief Executive, UK Financial Services (UKFS).
Crowley was appointed to the role in 2004, having joined Bank of Ireland as head of information systems back in 1988.
Richie Boucher, who joined the bank from Bank of Scotland as chief executive, corporate banking, in 2003, will replace Crowley as chief executive RFSI, and he will also join the Group Executive Committee.
Roy Keenan, the present head of BOI’s UK business is to retire in March 2006. |
