Career progress: 1976 – 79 Management Trainee at RTZ Corporation, London; 1980 – 1984 Lending Executive at ICC, responsible for new business origination; 1984 – 1992 VP at Citibank, various Credit, Marketing and Treasury positions in Ireland and overseas;
1992 – 2001 ABN AMRO, various positions in Ireland and overseas, including Director of Treasury, Ireland; CEO in Sweden/Finland and finally CEO in Ireland; 2001- 2002 Principal in Biotech startup project; In early 2003 joined Anglo Irish Bank Corporation.
Special projects: Worked on a number of acquisitions ( as adviser) and divestments (as principal) which were very challenging and demanding but also rewarding.
