Career progress: 1973-1986: Credito Italiano - various responsibilities at various Italian branches; 1986-1992: dealer at Credito Italiano’s Tokyo Branch, Japan. During this time I was promoted to assistant chief manager with responsibility for the treasury area; 1992-1997: returned to Europe to head up the corporate desk in the London branch; 1997-2000: spent three years in Ireland as assistant chief manager with responsibility for treasury; 2000-2002: returned to Italy to run the treasury area at RoloBanca 1473 SpA in Bologna; 2002-2004: head of Group Treasury Management at Koc Financial Services in Istanbul. Returned to Ireland to head up UniCredito Italiano’s Irish operation – UniCredito Italiano (Ireland) plc.

Special projects: In 1984 completed a training program at Barclays Bank and Credito Italiano both in London. While at Koc Financial Services was responsible for the all treasury operations of the Koc Group. While at RoloBanca 1473 SpA was responsible for Treasury assessment and integration into the UniCredito Italiano group.

Personal: Date of birth: 25 January 1953. Place of birth: Campi Bisenzio, Italy. Marital status: single

Interests: Traveling - I have traveled widely throughout Asia and Europe and am fluent in both English & Italian and I speak reasonable French. Music – classical, Italian opera and easy listening music.
