Following on from the success of last year’s conference, which attracted over 220 delegates from the UK, US, Luxembourg, Jersey, Germany and Ireland, The Third Finance Dublin International Securitisation Conference will be held on 30th November, at a new venue: the Dublin Castle Conference Centre. |
As the international securitisation market continues to flourish, the conference plans to address key issues including: how the credit and structured finance markets can provide new opportunities for hedge funds; how to get high returns in an environment of tight spreads and rising interest rates; what role should securitisation play in your funding strategy; the impact of the regulatory environment - FSAP, the Prospectus and Transparency Directives, Basel II; SPV domiciliation/listing; investing in ABCP, influx of custom tailored/heavily structures products; European covered bond market; ABCP conduit financing; extendible structures; innovative developments in the CDO market and corporate securitisations.
There will also be an addition to the conference programme this year in the form of a parallel 'Introduction to Securitisation' stream. It is aimed at new staff entering the sector and individuals wishing to supplement their overall grasp of the subject area.
The aim of this new session is to provide companies active in the international securitisation market with a comprehensive training and educational opportunity for employees.
