Guest is new head of ABN AMRO Back
DDavid Guest has been appointed ABN AMRO country representative and country coverage head for Ireland. Guest joined ABN AMRO in Ireland in 1991, and was appointed managing director of ABN AMRO International Financial Services Company in 1996, responsible for establishing and developing the bank’s treasury outsourcing business. In addition to his new responsibilities, Guest will continue in his current role as country head of working capital and treasury outsourcing.

Guest assumes the role from Tom McAleese, who left the bank earlier this year to take up the position of country manager and managing director, Ireland, for Barclays Bank plc. Prior to this, Gerry Roseingrave, who is now European head of market risk at ABN AMRO, held the position.

Anne Gleeson, former chief operating officer at ABN AMRO IFSC, is to step into Guest’s old role as managing director. In addition, Enda Morgan has been appointed head of financial markets distribution for Ireland. Morgan joined ABN AMRO in 1992, and will now be responsible for the distribution of financial market products to financial institutions, public sector and corporate clients.
