New CFO for Waterford Wedgewood Back  
After ten years as chief financial officer of luxury goods company Waterford Wedgewood plc, Richard Barnes is to step down.
He will be replaced by Paul D’Alton, who will assume the role on May 4th.. D’Alton was previously CFO of both Bank of Ireland and Aer Lingus, and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, a director of the Irish Takeover Panel, a non-executive director of Bank of Ireland Assurance and non-executive chairman of Aer Arran, the regional airline. He was involved in the recent management buy-out of Riverdeep in the role of independent director and chair of the Committee of Independent Directors.
