Susquehanna International Securities Limited, the Dublin based market-making firm, has been admitted as a new member firm of the ISE.The company will deal with market professionals on a principal basis, and will also carry out market making activities in nine Irish securities on ISE Xetra, the Exchange's electronic trading platform. Susquehanna has become the second firm this year to join the ISE, following on from Pershing International Securities’ membership last month. |
The company will deal with market professionals on a principal basis. It will also carry out market making activities in nine Irish securities on ISE Xetra, the Exchanges electronic trading platform.
According to Susquehanna managing director, Ben Conte, the company is a member of most major European exchanges obvious omission’and has decided to add the ISE to its list of memberships.
Conte expects that membership of the ISE will offer his firm access to a vibrant market.
Susquehanna has become the second firm this year to join the ISE, following on from Pershing International Securities’ membership last month, and Brian Healy, director of trading/regulation on the ISE is confident that more companies, particularly international investment banks, will join over the course of the year.
A part of the Susquehanna International Group (SIG), Susquehanna set up its Dublin office in 1999 and currently employs 75 staff. SIG is a market-making firm active in financial markets on five continents, and is one of the leading US exchange-traded funds (ETFs) market makers. |
