The Irish Venture Capital Association (IVCA) has launched its inaugural publication ‘A Guide to Venture Capital’. The guide was produced in association with Equity Network, and is aimed at those seeking to understand and access venture capital, including entrepreneurs, consultants, corporate financiers, lawyers and bankers.
The guide includes advice on ppreparing a business plan, a directory of sources of venture capital, as well as a listing of IVCA members.
According to the guide there are now over 30 professionally managed venture capital funds operating in the Irish market, and, there is presently around €325 million available for investment in early stage companies or existing companies seeking to expand. |
