The Loan Market Association (LMA) has extended its European jurisdiction for mark-to-mark secondary loan pricing to Ireland. The LMA’s aim is to encourage liquidity and efficiency in both the primary and secondary loan markets by promoting market depth and transparency, alongside developing standard forms of documentation and codes of market practice. The service is accessible on the LMA web site, www.lma.eu.com.
Prices are provided weekly request and the pricing panel will derive an average price each Thursday morning. The service will also be offered to France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. Until now the service has only been available in the UK. |
