Mr. Brendan Seaver, country treasurer of Bank of America, presenting a cheque for £32,500 on behalf of the Forex Ireland Golf Society to Dr Charles Gallagher of the National Referral Centre for Adult Cystic Fibrosis at a reception held in St. Vincent’s Hospital, on October 4, 2001.
The Forex Ireland Golf Society has been in operation for approximately twenty years, and is the golf society of ACI Ireland whose members are primarily made up foreign exchange/ money market traders and brokers from the Dublin financial community. Over the last six years a total of £150,000 has been raised from the International Golf Charity Event.
This year £50,000 was raised. The main beneficiary is the National Referral Centre for Adult Cystic Fibrosis, with the balance going to purchase a Sunshine coach for the mentally handicapped. |
