A new service has been launched which will allow AIB corporate customers to access online financial information through their mobile phones for the price of a text message. The FX3 service, launched by AIB Corporate & Commercial Treasury in association with Goodbody Stockbrokers, will allow clients to access data like foreign exchange rate movements and equity prices by customising the selection of financial information to appear on their mobile phone screen. Up to ten pieces of information can be sent within one text message and these can be a mixture of foreign exchange rates, ISEQ prices, FTSE 100 listings and USA share prices.
According to AIB, the service will be enhanced in the future to allow for specific alert services to be sent to customers. |
