This involves maintaining the quality of, and further innovating the delivery of world-class education and training to Ireland’s dynamic financial services sector.

Career path: Professor of Economics, University of Western Sydney, 1990-1997. Professor of Finance and Economics, University of Technology, Sydney, 1997-1998.
Special projects: Served as Senior Economic Advisor to the Federal Finance Minister in Australia during the early 1990s. Acted as financial consultant to many corporations such as Federal Airports Corporation, Pacific Power and Telstra. Current research speciality is volatility modelling and risk management.
