Career path: Joined the firm in 1977 appointed a Partner in 1983. Between 1983 and 1987 he ran the firm’s New York Office. Appointed head of Commercial Department April 2000.
Special projects: Responsible for establishment of A & L Goodbody’s Technology Law Unit almost 12 years ago. This was the first in Ireland and is the largest specialist group offering technology law advice in Ireland. Also head of the Inward Investment Unit.
Personal: Date of birth: 31st August 1953, Athlone, Co. Westmeath. Family: wife - Jane Williams, 2 daughters.
