Career progress: ’76 - ’85 Central Bank of Ireland, Accounts Dept. Clerical Officer, promoted twice up to senior executive officer. ’86 - ’89 CBI, Banking Supervision Dept. ’89 - ’92 BIAM approached by BIAM, offered the position of compliance officer/accountant. ’92 - ’94 Bank of Ireland (BoI), Group Compliance Coordinator. ’94 - ’97 BoI, Head of Group Risk & Compliance. ’97 to date Managing Director, Commercial Finance. First female MD in the BoI Group.
Special Projects: Designed and introduced an insurance programme which resulted in multi-million ? costs savings. Designed an operational risk management programme. Became a director of the UK Factors & Discounters Association.
Awards: 1996 finalist in the European Risk Manager of the Year competition.
