Deirdre Somers
Listing Policy Manager with the Irish Stock Exchange.
Current responsibilities: Development of listing policy for all products listed by the Exchange. Managment of structured products and company (i.e. non investment fund) listing departments.

Career progress: 87-92: KPMG trainee through to senior in the corporate tax department. 92-95: manager in KPMG Financial Services specialising in international tax, IFSC set ups and structured finance. 1995 to date: Irish Stock Exchange listing policy manager.
Special projects: I have had responsibility for developing, codifying and promoting listing regimes for investment funds and various types of specialsit securities (including asset backed debt, derivative warrants and eurobonds). I am currently involved in the development and promotion of the new technology market of the Irish Stock Exchange.
