The Irish Stock Exchange has appointed Deirdre Somers as Director of Listings with responsibility for all of the Exchange’s Listing business. This follows the departure of Gerardine Jones, previously Director of Listings, who takes up her new role as chief operating officer with Dolmen Butler Briscoe stockbrokers this month.
Somers’ new role includes overseeing company listings, investment funds listings, the listing of specialist securities and the development of the Exchange’s new ITEQ market for high-technology companies. Somers will also be responsible for the development of the Exchange’s Listing policy.
Somers has been in charge of Company Listing and Listing Policy in the Exchange since 1995. Prior to that she was a financial services manager a in KPMG. |
