Landy goes it alone Back
Pat Landy has left his position as managing director of corporate finance at Merrion Capital, the Dublin-based stockbroking firm, to set up his own specialist corporate finance boutique, A-Plan Corporate Advisors.

The new firm is expected to aim for business at the mid to upper end of the Irish market.
Landy was one of the founders of Merrion Capital, which he set up along with former of NCB colleagues including John Conroy and Barry Connell in 1999. Merrion Capital has been involved in many of the more high-profile corporate finance deals over the past number of years including the E3.7 billion taking private of Jefferson Smurfit by Madison Dearborn in 2002. Merrion Capital has not yet announced who will replace Landy as head of corporate finance.
