Accountancy firm to integrate Back
Chapman Flood Mazars, the accounting and consulting firm, is to fully integrate its brand and client services with all other Mazars firms throughout Europe and is to be renamed Mazars. Mazars will now be Europe’s largest independent accounting and consulting organisation with 5,500 staff and 200 offices in 50 countries.
Mazars, the seventh largest accounting firm in Ireland according to the Finance accountancy survey 2002, has reorganised its structure to enhance its delivery of client service to SME’s and their corporate, institutional and governmental clients.
Employing over 140 people in Ireland, the firm plans to double market share over the medium to long term. Currently, 50 per cent of the company’s business is derived from the SME sector while the other 50 per cent comes from large corporates and institutions. Mazars clients include many Government departments, large sporting organisations and a significant cross section of indigenous SME and larger corporate clients.
Coinciding with this development, Joe Carr is to take over as managing partner from David Chapman, who will now assume the role of chairman.
Chapman Flood Mazars was formed over twenty years ago and has been part of the Mazars organisation since 1988. In 1998, Chapman Flood merged with Rawlinson Hunter Mazars. During that time the firm has developed a presence in the small and medium size market, and provides audit, accountancy, taxation, corporate finance and consulting services to institutional and governmental sectors, European/multinational companies and distribution companies.
