| A pocket book summarising accounting standards generally accepted in Ireland as of January 1, 2002 has been launched by PricewaterhouseCoopers. The book provides a key reference tool to Irish businesses on the implementation of accounting standards in Ireland and their likely development in the future. Although no new standards were published in 2001, companies have focused on implementing the three new standards on retirement benefits, accounting policies and deferred tax that were published at the end of 2000. |
