Merrion Stockbrokers has become the first Irish stockbroking firm to be awarded the SO 9001:2000 standard applicable to stockbroking services. National Quality Assurance Ltd (NQAL) granted this internationally recognised award for the services industry following an in-depth audit of Merrion’s quality management system. On granting the award, NQAL said it recognised the effort and commitment that Merrion devoted to achieving this standard.
Michael Hodson, finance director with Merrion says that, ‘the granting of the award is a reflection of the high quality of the systems and procedures in place within Merrion’ and he adds that Merrion’s strong technology systems made it easier to put the necessary procedures in place. |
