| FINANCE MAGAZINE Deals of the Year 2008 - Nominations |
Listed below are the 82 deals nominated for Ireland's Capital Markets Deals of the Year awards 2008.
The table below provides you with a one page directory of the most important deals listed by size and sector. It is a compendium of excellence in corporate finance in Ireland.
Each deal links to its own page giving details of the deal and advisers' own assessments of each deal.
This year's survey had a record number of nominations. The nine categories: corporate finance, equity linked deals, mid market corporate finance deals, capital issues, securitisations, private placements, project finance, loans, and bonds, all show the high level of expertise in the Irish market, evidenced by the innovation in many of the deal structures and efficiency of execution.
The winning awards in each category are announced in the June 2008 edition of Finance Magazine. This Online Directory will be supplemented during the latter half of 2008 with profiles of new deal nominations as they are completed, thereby providing a profile list of the nominations for THE FINANCE MAGAZINE CAPITAL MARKETS DEALS OF THE YEAR 2009. The full list of nominations for the 2009 awards will appear first on this site. If you want to find out more about how to profile your company's deals, and to obtain details of the nomination rules for listing on the site, please contact Kennedy O'Brien at kedob@finance-magazine.com.

FINANCE magazine is Ireland's only monthly title dedicated to finance and financial services, providing news, analysis and information on corporate finance and financial services.
Founded in 1987, the print edition is circulated by subscription only, with its readership concentrated amongst senior financial executives in financial services, corporate Ireland, in the accountancy and legal professions and in Ireland's international financial centre (IFSC).
It is a totally independent publication, published by Fintel Ltd, an Irish registered company which also publishes finance-magazine.com, Finance Dublin, the monthly newsletter about the IFSC, financedublin.com, the Finance Dublin Yearbook of Ireland's IFSC, as well as running conferences on international financial services and capital markets topics, and Ireland's biggest finance and financial services recruitment website, www.financejobs.ie. For more on Fintel click here.
To read more about Finance's editorial mission click here, for an article by the editor Ken O'Brien, in the fifteenth anniversary edition of Finance published in June 2002.
