| April 14th 2016: The founder of Realex, and chairman of Ireland's new IFS industry association FPAI, Colm Lyon yesterday received the 'Financial Technology Deal of the Year' in the Finance Dublin Deals of the Year Awards 2016. The award for the Global Payments acquisition of Realex was one of seven Irish 'fintech' deals nominated in the 2016 'Finance Dublin' Awards, of over €750 million in deal values in 2016. |
