Welcome to Investment Funds Ireland 2011.

Investment Funds Ireland 2011 profiles the vibrancy and exceptional standards and levels of professionalism that the 10,000 plus workforce of the Irish industry have achieved, and we celebrate the industry's achievements with the publication of the first Investment Funds Ireland Awards database. This lists the awards and commendations that the fifty strong Irish funds industry can boast as having achieved in 2010 and 2011 to date. A remarkable 508 awards of which 296 were 'firsts' have been earned, recognised by 29 award giving bodies and publications.

This, in a nutshell, points to the world class nature and achievements of this industry - a jewel in the crown of not just the IFSC, but the Irish economy.

And, as we see from the NAV statistics compiled by the Central Bank and other indicators the sector has begun to grow again. Not alone that, but according to EFAMA, the European Fund and Asset Management Association, Ireland for the second year running has been the fastest growing cross border funds jurisdiction, ahead of its main jurisdictional rival Luxembourg.
